The Villages Case Study Featured Image

Helping The Villages Thrive

For nearly 20 years, Marketing In Color has helped The Villages, Central Florida’s premier retirement community, with its marketing efforts. From video production to digital initiatives and everything in between, we’re very proud to have helped The Villages not just grow, but thrive. Today, it’s the largest master-planned community in the United States and home to more than 110,000 residents, ranked by Forbes Magazine in 2012 as the fastest-growing small town in America.

Using the Power of Video

One of the ways we’ve played a part in helping The Villages grow into the multi-billion dollar corporation it is today is through video – what many say is the most powerful sales tool in today’s digital world. And what better way to show off and celebrate the community’s vibrant culture than video?

Attracting New Residents and Building Loyalty

With more than 2,000 various clubs, hundreds of holes of golf, recreation, pickleball, live entertainment, and a never-ending supply of interesting people who’ve lived interesting lives, and are still doing interesting things, there’s never a shortage of stories to tell with video. From a 30-minute sales video to an endless variety of other community-based videos, we’ve used this engaging medium to entice potential new residents as well as communicate and build loyalty with current ones.

Director of Sales

It’s hard to believe, but we first started working with Marketing In Color nearly 20 years ago. Since 1997, Cheryl, John, and crew have played an integral part as our go-to video marketing team, creating sales videos, national TV spots, and a slew of other internal and external video projects over the years for Florida’s Friendliest Hometown – The Villages. The Villages is America’s premier 55+ community. With nearly 40 square miles of neighborhoods, town centers, commercial districts, recreation facilities, golf country clubs, and wide open spaces (and nearly 115,000 residents), The Villages provides quite the backdrop for the many stories Marketing In Color brings to life. Considering the logistics required to glean content over such a large, evolving enterprise, I'm impressed with how well they manage relationships – whether it’s with The Villages team or our cherished residents themselves – with a smile, a great accommodating attitude, and the utmost professionalism."
