Have you heard of Basecamp? It’s a really cool online project platform we’ve been using for years now. It makes it easy to collaborate with clients virtually, because you communicate through it via the web. It organizes all work by project, so all communications and supporting files can be found in one place. Making it easy for everyone involved in a project to monitor and participate in its progress. Way better than tearing your hair out trying to track down and make sense of old emails.
There’s practically no learning curve for our clients, because Basecamp is a cinch to use. Plus, it cuts out the added expense and time it takes to overnight documents to and from far flung corners of the country. It gets us all closer to achieving a paperless office. I can’t imagine how many file cabinets we haven’t had to buy (or trees that had to be cut down) the last several years because of Basecamp. It’s just another great reason our clients like working with Marketing In Color. No matter where you are in the U.S. And it costs you nothing to use it. We foot the bill. Oh yeah, and we’re good at marketing, too. Did we mention that? Here’s a couple of video links to check out Basecamp.
Plus, take a look at a few projects of how the makers of Basecamp use it for their own projects. Note that these are archived projects that do not show all functionality. Basecamp Public Projects: An inside look at how 37signals uses Basecamp.
