Assembling a group of designers is akin to putting together the roster of a championship team. Each player brings different skill sets, backgrounds, and expertise to the group. And with our growing client roster, we were thrilled to add Alanna Murphy, MIC’s newest Graphic Designer, to the creative team. With her experience level, attention to detail, and awesome personality, she is a great addition.

Alanna is from a small town in Massachusetts. So small, in fact, that her town didn’t have a high school. So, she attended a technical vocational high school where she first fell in love with computers. After high school, she attended and graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, with a degree in Computer Graphics & New Media, Web Development. Alanna has held various designer positions previously, including at Time Inc, and Macys.com. She recently moved from New York City to Tampa to be with her family and to continue to pursue her design career.
“Alanna brings years of digital and web design experience. She has a strong focus on user experience and SEO, skills that further enhance MIC’s creative department. We welcome her with open arms.” – Diego Aguirre, Associate Creative Director
As a Graphic Designer, Alanna will work closely with the design team and copywriters, concepting and developing strong design solutions that meet the strategical marketing needs of MIC clients.
When Alanna isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family. She also likes to participate in volunteer opportunities. Since she is new to Tampa, Alanna looks forward to exploring the area and discovering all the fun things to do in the Tampa Bay area. She is enjoying her time in Tampa and at MIC. “MIC is fun, vibrant, and talented,” Alanna stated. “Everyone is very welcoming!”
Alanna is already bringing tremendous value to our design team and is starting to stash away Nerf® darts for when the big Nerfiation® happens – which is basically a required skill at MIC. Join us in welcoming Alanna to the team!
