Marketing In Color’s newest Project Manager, Kristen Diaz, graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans with a degree in Mass Communications — but she remains a student for life. Her boundless curiosity and thirst for knowledge includes random interests like paleontology, astronomy, urban planning and architecture, interior design, and craft beers.

Born in Albany, N.Y., Kristen’s family tired of the northern winters and escaped to Florida when she was five. She comes to MIC from Regenerative Medicine Solutions where she was a Marketing Coordinator. Prior to that she was a Project Manager at Boston Capital Leasing, where she had the opportunity to work with breweries across the country, but fell in love with craft beers made in the Tampa Bay area.
As a Project Manager, Kristen ultimately reports to the CEO but directly supports the Account Executives by organizing and managing client projects; collecting, evaluating, and reporting all client analytics; and maintaining a thorough knowledge of her clients’ business and marketing objectives. “Kristen is an extremely organized multi-tasker, exactly the skills we look for in our Project Managers”, states Cheryl Parrish, President and CEO of Marketing in Color. “And she’s also a delightful person and a great fit for our team.”
Kristen is equally enthusiastic. “The people here are wonderful, talented, funny, and sassy – all my favorite things!” She adds, “It easy to jump right in, and the clients are cool, too.”
Kristen’s own cool factor is upped considerably by her diverse pastimes, including Netflix bingeing, beach-going, event planning, Instagramming the family dog Jeter, and exploring Tampa and St. Pete. But she is also a self-avowed nerd, gorging on superhero movies and TV shows, and seeking fellow Potterheads for a road trip to Universal. She was rightfully sorted into Ravenclaw, whose members prize wit, wisdom, and learning.
Kristen’s future involves travel, charity, and helping non-profits in third world countries. Until then, we’re happy to have her perform her project management wizarding skills on MIC clients.
