Born and raised in Massachusetts, MIC’s new Production Technician Kyle Coppola is living proof that when one door closes, another one opens.
With his 6’6” frame, Kyle played offensive tackle in high school and caught the eye of recruiters from big-name football schools. One gruesome snapped knee, a botched surgery, rehab, a second surgery, more rehab, and two pain-filled years later, Kyle’s playing career ended. His involvement with the game, did not.

He began operating the scoreboard, then public address announcing. The response to his animated play-by-plays was so positive he began shadowing a local TV access channel. His passion for media and marketing was sparked and continued on to Curry College in Milton, MA and a degree in a Communication/Digital Media.
As Production Technician, Kyle will assist in all levels of production for The Villages® and Evergreen Wellness® (EGW), perform on-going logging of MIC video assets, and provide coordination assistance and support for all shoots, shows and events. “Kyle is not only working solidly behind the scenes,” states Production Manager Simon Faulkner, “he has already proven his ability and willingness to jump in and be in the public eye, representing Evergreen Wellness (and Marketing In Color), as a positive, creative resource.”
“MIC is a fantastic and wonderful company to work for,” asserts Kyle. “Cheryl does an amazing job of making it feel like home. Everyone is here to help one another and we all work very hard to provide the best we can for the clients.”
Prior to joining MIC, Kyle was a DJ for The Villages® Radio Station. He worked production for the Boston Celtics and New England Revolution Games, was employed by iHeart Radio during the FIFA World Cup, and was a board operator for the Boston Red Sox.
Kyle remains true to his sports roots – racing cars and go-karts, golfing, swimming, running, and cheering on his beloved New England Patriots, Bruins, Red Sox, and Celtics. He is equally passionate about rockets and space exploration and is thrilled about what SpaceX, Boeing, and NASA are doing.
In fact, if he could do anything he would buy a ticket on a rocket to Mars, see the stars up close, and visit undiscovered places. Go for it, Kyle! Because if anyone can charm their way into a rocket ride into space, you can. We can’t wait to hear your live play-by-play announcing along the way.
