Josh Napier once raced a cheetah at Tropicana Field to show the difference in speed. He can also hold his breath for a minute and a half – but won’t because he needs all his brain cells. Which is a good thing because as MIC’s newest Account Manager, he manages and retains existing business on his accounts, oversees their financial aspects, and identifies growth opportunities with current and prospective clients. As the primary liaison between clients and creative, he leads client service to ensure all assignments are executed timely and accurately.

“Josh is a very strong addition to our team,” states CEO Cheryl Parrish. “He brings solid account management experience as well as outstanding people skills. Our team already loves him and I know our clients will, too.” Josh is equally excited, saying, “MIC’s company culture is so unique; such a fun, diverse, talented group of people! I’m very excited for the growth potential.”
Josh earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Tampa where he worked his way up from photographer to Editor-in-Chief of the school’s newspaper. Along the way, the half Colombian-half Scottish student discovered his true calling wasn’t in writing, but in cultivating relationships and working under deadlines. In other words, Account Management.
Prior to MIC, Josh spent several years managing a creative team and key relationships with Fortune 1000 clients at a digital marketing startup, and most recently, at Catalina Marketing as an Account Manager on Nestle Purina, General Mills brands and several other international retailers and manufacturers. He moved to Tampa in 2001 with his family and chose to stay for the heat, restaurants, breweries, and beaches. An Air Force brat, he has also lived in Germany, Colorado, and Italy – and will be returning to Positano, Italy in April 2018 to honeymoon with his new bride, Katelyn.
A man of many interests and talents, Josh loves cigars, beer, whisky, coffee, and burgers. He enjoys playing saxophone, collecting records, attending live concerts, traveling with his fiancée, weightlifting, running, hiking, camping, photography, reading half of a great book, and writing bad short novels. He also plays favorites: preferring his dog Lucy over Ollie the cat.
One day Josh hopes to own a business that provides something great to the world. We’ll count on it. Because a man who dares to race a cheetah just can’t be stopped.
