MIC Is In The News - Featured Image

As promised in my last blog post, tomorrow is the big day!

At 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, our team will be gathering at TECO Hall in downtown Tampa for a press conference, where City of Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn and City of Tampa Police Chief Jane Castor will introduce the Downtown Business Watch (DBW) program.

Working closely with Tampa Police Officer Sean Mahabir, MIC created the artwork for the DBW program’s window decals, which participating businesses will be given to place in the windows of their establishments. Businesses that join the program will benefit from having a direct line of communication with the police department to help ensure employees, residents, and visitors are well-informed about crime and traffic-related issues in the area.

MIC also worked with Officer Mahabir to expand the branding of the overall Business Watch program in the Tampa Bay area by creating a Tampa Business Watch logo, which will also be unveiled at the press conference. The new logo and branding will serve as the overarching brand umbrella for all Tampa business districts participating in the program, creating a unified, cohesive brand identity for the entire program.

Team MIC is excited and proud to be a part of helping to make Tampa a safer place to live and work! Stay tuned, there’s more to come!
